Planted by Gary McGibbon and family a decade ago, this Chardonnay comes from a breathtaking coastal site with 95 clone vines. Fermented in older puncheons and one new barrique, it spent 10 months on gross lees with 100% malolactic fermentation and minimal sulphur until bottling. Only three barrels were produced, resulting in a wine of remarkable complexity and character.
