The Vineyards
Across the Mornington Peninsula
The sites we work with
We work with a small group of vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula, from the elevated slopes of Main Ridge and Red Hill to Shoreham, Flinders, Merricks and Tuerong. Many of the vines are over 30 years old, dry grown and low yielding. Our approach is attentive farming, minimal inputs and working with each season.
01Robinson Vineyard
Tuerong

Tuerong · Mornington Peninsula
Robinson Vineyard
Robinson is our home. It sits in a warmer pocket of the Peninsula, on lower slopes with duplex clay-loam soils. Planted between 1988 and 1994, its separate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blocks ripen at different times. The vineyard is also home to our winery.
02Wynnton Ridge Vineyard
Shoreham

Shoreham · Mornington Peninsula
Wynnton Ridge Vineyard
Planted in 1994 on a former dairy farm, Wynnton Ridge follows a steep, south-facing slope in Shoreham. The unirrigated Chardonnay vines are sheltered from the afternoon sun, allowing slow ripening and strong natural acidity.
03Brimsmore Lane Vineyard
Merricks

Merricks · Mornington Peninsula
Brimsmore Lane Vineyard
Brimsmore Lane is one of the Merricks vineyards we work with across the Mornington Peninsula. Its fruit contributes to our exploration of the region, bringing a distinct site into the broader picture of our regional wines.
04The Orchard Vineyard
Flinders

Flinders · Mornington Peninsula
The Orchard Vineyard
A small, unirrigated vineyard overlooking Western Port, The Orchard is protected by fruit trees and tall hedges that form a sheltered sun pocket. Mature Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines combine bright natural acidity with the character of this coastal site.
05Harrisons Road Vineyard
Red Hill

Red Hill · Mornington Peninsula
Harrisons Road Vineyard
Harrisons Road is where our single vineyard Pinot Noir story began. Its north-facing slope looks towards Port Phillip, with MV6 and 777 vines planted in the early 1990s. Dry grown on clay-loam soils, the site is naturally low yielding.
06Tudibaring Vineyard
Main Ridge

Main Ridge · Mornington Peninsula
Tudibaring Vineyard
Owned and tended by Gary McGibbon and his family, Tudibaring looks out towards the ocean from Main Ridge. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grow on deep soils with shallow granite boulders. Pommard and MV6 Pinot Noir vines give this site its own distinctive expression.
